Did you hear about Titanic 2? It's an actual Titanic replica that is set to sail the same route as the orginal Titanic. More on that story here. But check this out, in 2010 there was a terrible movie that came out, it was called Titanic II. It wasn't a sequal to the hit movie in the late 90s. This movie was about Titanic II that was a replica of the original Titanic that went to sail the same route with the same results as the orginal. Hmmm, sound familiar? Don't believe me? Here's the IMDB.

In Florida, a 37-year-old Pizza Hut employee wanted to impress his girlfriend, so he told her he was a sheriff's deputy. He would wear the uniform when he left the house, he gave her friends tips for beating tickets and DUIs, and even wore the uniform to a New Year's party. Someone tipped off the REAL cops, and he was arrested for impersonating an officer earlier this month. And his girlfriend dumped him.

If you turn the TV on you're going to hear about the Sequester. I'm the last person who should explain this, I mean look at the grammar in this blog! But I looked it up for all of us who might not get it. Here's the gist of the thing:
"March 1 a bunch of federal spending cuts are scheduled to kick in automatically. These cuts are called the sequester. They will swiftly and dramatically reduce the amount of money available to the military, the FBI, the SEC, and a host of other agencies and programs with three-letter acronyms, in a big chunk that will total $85 billion by the end of the year."
Why does this exist? "The idea behind these automatic cuts was that they would be so severe, so unthinkably brutal, that they would never be allowed to happen."

Single life has taught me to go online and find really good food to make. I just made this yesterday and if you love Pumpkin you'll be amazed. So easy a "josh" can do it. They call it a Pumpkin Oatmeal Shake:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup quick oats
2 cups water
1 cup fat free milk (vegans use almond milk)
1 cup ice
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
3 tbsp brown sugar
1-2 tsp cinammon
pumpkin pie spice to taste
Directions:
Cook oats and water in a small pot for about a minute or two, stirring often until it becomes thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and let it cool a few minutes.
In a blender add milk, pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice. Add oats and ice. Blend on high until very smooth. Chill in refrigerator or pour in a glass over ice.

Ouch, big error in Steven Spielberg's film "Lincoln". In the movie, 2 congressmen from Connecticut vote against the 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery. So a guy named Joe Courtney, a current representative from Connecticut, did some research and found that all 4 congressmen did vote in favor of the amendment. He wrote a letter to Steven asking to fix this for the DVD release, no response from Steven. Normally I wouldn't blog about this but the congressman brings up a good point when he said , "How could congressmen from Connecticut, a state that supported President Lincoln and lost thousands of her sons fighting against slavery on the Union side of the Civil War, have been on the wrong side of history?" In other news, Tommy Lee Jones was still amazing in that movie.

But she said she'll be singing live at the Super Bowl.
