The Michigan Department of Civil Rights has filed a complaint with the US Deptartment of Education, asking them to prohibit the use of American Indian mascots. One of those schools on the complaint list, Cheboygan High School, their mascot is the Chief. Is that offensive? Nathan Edwards from 7 and 4 news has the full story here...

Sad news from Muskegon. On Tuesday someone broke in to a man's home and stole his prized possesion. They'd stolen what the man described as, "one of the largest porn collections" in the state of Michigan valued at $6,500. Police have no leads.
This guy in New York has been dubbed "#1 Deadbeat Parent." Why? Because he owes more than $1.2 Million to three children from two failed marriages.
While we're on parenting another sad story is trending this morning. A Utah women gets "mother of the year" for pouring HOT SAUCE in her boy's eye as punishment! She's also been jailed on suspicion of duct taping a 14 year old, forcing him to inhale marijuana all while pouring the hot sauce in his eye. Full story is here...
