Sometimes the tabloids get it right. KRISTEN STEWART apologized yesterday for cheating on ROBERT PATTINSON with her "Snow White" director RUPERT SANDERS. She said, quote, "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected." A source says Kristen definitely wants to stay with Rob and make things right with him. Kristen did NOT apologize to Rupert's wife Liberty Ross, or their two children but Rupert issued his own apology, saying, quote, "I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family."

Police say they have a suspect, but their investigation is ongoing, so an arrest hasn't been made yet.
Earlier this month, JUSTIN BIEBER was stopped for driving between 80 and 100 miles per hour on a Southern California freeway to avoid the paparazzi. He's the first "victim" of the law.

After joking around about the Tweet . . . Sharon told E! News, quote, "I will be here today, tomorrow." And that's all she said.
