"People" magazine says ROBERT PATTINSON has moved out of the house he shared with KRISTEN STEWART, and they're currently not in contact with each other. A source says, quote, "I'm not sure they'll be able to recover from this. He is heartbroken and angry." It should be noted, however, that the house actually belongs to Rob. So his departure will probably only be temporary.

As expected, RUSSELL BRAND will not spend any time behind bars for chucking that photographer's iPhone in New Orleans earlier this year. His attorney cut a deal yesterday that resulted in 20 hours of community service and $500 in court fees. The case will be dismissed if he finishes his community service by August 31st.

ERIC DANE will NOT return to "Grey's Anatomy" this season. He has played Dr. Mark Sloan . . . a.k.a. McSteamy . . . since Season Two in 2005. The show's creator Shonda Rhimes says, quote, "After much consideration and conversations, he and I have decided that this is the right time for his storyline to end." According to TVLine.com, McSteamy won't be completely gone when Season Nine premieres in September. He's expected to appear in a limited role for several episodes so the show can give him "a proper farewell."

File this under WTF!?!?!? GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS created an awkward moment on "Good Morning America" yesterday when he abruptly asked DYLAN MCDERMOTT about his mother's murder during a light-hearted interview. They were bantering about Dylan's new comedy "The Candidate" in front of some smiling fans outside in Times Square when George decided to ask a HARD-HITTING question. He said, quote, "You know there's something that's been in the news lately . . . I know you can't say much about it, but your mom was murdered 45 years ago . . . you were just five-years-old and just recently, with your help the case was finally solved and reached a conclusion. Is there anything at all you can say about it? I'd imagine that it's at least brought you some peace." Dylan responded, quote, "Well George, you know I want to keep my personal life personal you know, and I'm here to talk about 'The Campaign' you know. That happened a long time ago and I'd rather just keep it for myself." George said he respected that, and moved on.
