Merriam-Webster has announced some of the new additions to their "Collegiate Dictionary"
Here are five of the words that are now pretty much official additions to the English language, and their Webster's definitions . . .
energy drink (noun) - a usually carbonated beverage that typically contains caffeine and other ingredients intended to increase the drinker's energy.
f-bomb (noun) - used metaphorically as a euphemism [for the curse words that begins with "f"].
man cave (noun) - a room or space designed according to the taste of the man of the house, to be used as his personal area for hobbies and leisure activities.
mash-up (noun) - something created by combining elements from two or more sources . . . [usually] a piece of music.
sexting (verb) - the sending of explicit messages or images by cell phone.
