A couple front page news stories nationally that you'll hear about include the 2 teen football players in Steubenville, Ohio that were charged with raping a 16 year old girl. This got attention world wide because photos were taken and leaked on social media, they will be going to jail. Other charges could be coming to football coaches, parents, and other students who may have tried to cover up what happened. You can read more about this from CNN here.
The other big story this morning is very sad out of Pennsylvania where a bus crash has left two people dead including the pregnant coach of the Seton Hill University women's lacrosse team. The bus driver also passed. Read more from CNN here.
TMZ claims LIL WAYNE was on the BRINK OF DEATH last week, when doctors placed him in a medically-induced coma after he suffered "multiple seizures." It sounds like Wayne may have OD'd but there's no official word on what's wrong with him. Despite TMZ's grim report, Wayne Tweeted that he's "good" . . . and one of his friends is denying that he was put in a coma.
Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough have ended things. Sources say it has more to do with Ryan working all the time.
Those hackers who caused chaos among celebs in Hollywood and Washington, D.C. by posting their confidential information like Social Security numbers and credit reports have called it quits. The website is gone, but before it disappeared, they posted a message saying, quote, "We have enjoyed every minute of the past 12 days of providing entertainment and laughs to all of you, sadly it's time to say bon voyage."
"Oz The Great And Powerful" was #1 at the box office again this weekend. "The Call" with Halle Berry was 2nd followed by "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" with Steve Carell and Jim Carrey. If you're sad about The Office going away and not ever seeing Dwight again, we have good news! Rainn Wilson, the guy who plays Dwight, will be staring in a new TV show on CBS called "Backstorm" next fall. They say his roll will be an "overweight, offensive detective who tries, and fails, to change his self-destructive behavior."
