We're trying to break the world record for Subarus in a Parade this Sunday in Elk Rapids! This is in memory of Matthew Noble Marker. If you want to join, show up this Sunday at 8am at Elk Rapids High School. More at Subaroots.com (BTW the last record set was 3 years ago in Illinois at 339 Subarus, we can do it!!)
Now on to more serious stuff. Did you see the news last night about Baby Kate and the alleged letter from Sean Phillips admitting what happened? Our friends at 7 and 4 have the story and the 5 page letter he wrote. I will warn you, it's sick but it answers some questions. CLICK HERE for the story and letter.
Another incident of FUN on Union Street this week. The Record Eagle reports that a ban barged in behind the counter of the House of Doggs Tuesday night around 6pm. Of course he was drunk. The report says he walked behind the counter and told a female employee to "open her mouth", when another employee stepped in he pushed her. The winner also struggled with police. So what's up with Union Street? You can't really control who goes into the bars but this is really making that part of the city look terrible!
Hollywood Buzz
KATHY BATES has revealed that she recently had both breasts removed after being diagnosed with cancer. The operation was apparently a success. She says, quote, "My doctors have assured me I'm going to be around for a long time. I'm looking forward to getting back to work doing what I love to do." Kathy also battled . . . and beat . . . ovarian cancer several years ago.

Is this THAT bad? I'm not a mom so I have no clue but check it out: JESSICA SIMPSON is being criticized by a child welfare activist for showing off a picture of her infant daughter Maxwell in a bikini. The guy says, quote, "It is to be hoped that parents will understand that 'baby bikinis' are totally inappropriate, and that they contribute to the sexualization and commercialization of childhood."

Can we get a good movie this weekend? Last weekend, eh kind of sucked. Resident Evil: Retribution in 3D is out, it's rated R. Finding Nemo 3D is rated G and out this weekend and that's really it for the big movies.

Speaking of movies, how about Beatle Juice 2? I'm for it!! But if "Beetlejuice 2" is happening, no one has told WINONA RYDER. Yet. MTV News asked Winona about the project and she said, quote, "You tell me . . . I don't know! I've heard from journalists, that's how I found out, but I'm seeing [Tim Burton] next week, and I will let you know." She added, quote, "I'm trying to think about how that would work. Obviously I'm not [the focal point]; it's got to be [Michael Keaton]. So is it happening? It's being written, but is it happening? Tim hasn't confirmed it yet [officially]."

CHRISTINA AGUILERA is planning to skip the spring season of "The Voice", but hopes to return for a future season. Also, the ratings for "The Voice" are down a little from last spring, but they're on par with what "X Factor" did last fall.

Yes! My prayers were answered!!! JASON SUDEIKIS has decided to return to "Saturday Night Live" . . . at least for PART of the season. That means he'll be back to play MITT ROMNEY. By the way, JAY PHAROAH will impersonate PRESIDENT OBAMA. He's taking over the gig from FRED ARMISEN. SNL shines during election season!
