Around Northern Michigan

More and more of this is happening around the county, we saw video yesterday of people moving the barriers around the Lincoln Memorial and the same is happening at Sleeping Bear. Government Shutdown or not, people are moving the barriers. Read more about what's going on at Sleeping Bear here...


What's Up in Entertainment

“The Walking Dead” was back Sunday and turned in some crazy ratings. 16.1 million viewers smashed the show's previous record by almost 4 million. In comparison to “Breaking Bad,” it's finale had 10.3 million viewers.

Speaking of “Breaking Bad,” Anthony Hopkins says he just finished binge-watching all 5 seasons. He loved it so much that he sent an e-mail to Bryan Cranston saying, “Your performance as Walter White was the best acting I have seen, ever... awesome.”

Tom Hanks returned to the giant piano a couple days ago to play “Chopsticks,” just as he did in the movie “Big.”



This woman is running from police, she drives into a train, which knocks her car onto another set of track then ANOTHER train hits her car. Somehow she escaped with only a broken arm. SEE IT HERE!
