Twitter is an amazing social interaction tool, but it doesn't seem to get a lot of love. I've been using twitter for three years now, and it's still just hitting its groove and becoming more mainstream as more and more companies integrate Twitter into their social marketing.
Just to put numbers in perspective, during the President's announcement on Sunday night, tweets reached nearly 5100 a second, and there were 12 MILLION tweets PER HOUR between 10pm and 1am. That is mind-blowingly astronomical. You tell me its NOT popular?
Best part about it, word about the news actually broke ON TWITTER. Thats right, not news shows or websites, but Twitter.
Sure, Twitter can be seen as the "little brother" to Facebook, but Its growing, and if you want on the wagon, jump on now.
