LANCE ARMSTRONG will sit for a 90-minute interview with OPRAH that'll air next Thursday night on OWN. Will he admit to using performance-enhancing drugs? Some sources say he will . . . but there's no official word on that. Meanwhile, "60 Minutes" says Lance offered the US Anti-Doping Agency a $250,000 bribe back in 2004. They turned him down.
During Monday night's BCS title game between Alabama and Notre Dame, BRENT MUSBURGER spent a little too much time drooling over KATHERINE WEBB, the girlfriend of Alabama quarterback A.J. MCCARRON. It was uncomfortable enough that ESPN actually apologized. A station rep Tweeted, quote, "We always try to capture interesting storylines and the relationship between an Auburn grad who is Miss Alabama and the current Alabama quarterback certainly met that test. However, we apologize that the commentary in this instance went too far and Brent understands that." Meanwhile, Katherine has gained almost 200,000 Twitter followers since the game.
