Work Day 3 into Day Light Saving time - closer to feeling normal? LOL Here's what's up today....

Have you ever seen the Northern Lights? I've lived in Northern Michigan for just over 4 full years and have yet to see them, then again I never look up! Anyway, this year is going to be a good year for viewing the Northern Lights, 7 and 4 news has more here.

This is cool, you know that older building in Clinch Park that use to be a museum? The TC Film Festival might put that to use, read more about it here from the TC Ticker.

Blood Drive today at the Traverse Area District Library from 2 until 7.

If you're following the conclave you'll know that black smoke came out of the chimney yesterday, signaling that a new pope has not been elected. They go on to day 2 today.

Oh no! Judge Judy is getting sued! She's being accused of paying around $50,000 to purchase about $500,000 worth of china and flatware from her producer, even though she knew his divorcing wife had equal ownership of the property. Here's what Judge Judy had to say, "I have not seen any complaint by the former Mrs. Douthit, however, I don't owe this lady a cent...and if this 50-year-old woman would spend her time more productively at trying to find a job, instead of abusing the judicial system with frivolous lawsuits, we would all be a lot better off," BAM!

Michelle Obama, Al Gore and Sarah Palin join the list of big names that have had their personal information leaked on the internet. President Obama spoke a bit about this, "We should not be surprised that if you've got hackers that want to dig in and devote a lot of resources, that they can access this information." You have to wonder what the next step is after this, seems to be an eye opener for our own security.

Hopefully you didn't pay $30 for one of the LAST REMAINING TWINKIES on eBay.  Because that panic over the death of Twinkies was TOTALLY UNNECESSARY. The private equity firm that paid $410 million to buy Hostess's brands has announced they'll have Twinkies back in stores by this summer.  Maybe you'll actually buy them this time, so the brand doesn't die again?

I've always said I got into radio because people expect WAY too much out of TV people. A TV reporter in Detroit is accused of having a bit too much drunken fun. MLive has the full story here.

While we're downstate check this out, in Taylor a 6th grader brought $20,000 to school and started handing it out! Jackpot! More again from MLive here...

Jeff Gordon and Pepsi played a prank on a car salesman, tell me you never wanted to do this! HAHAHA
