Hollywood Buzz

ANDERSON COOPER had some advice for LINDSAY LOHAN on his show yesterday.  He was talking about AMANDA BYNES and her troubles. Then he mentioned how Lindsay Tweeted her frustration earlier this week that Amanda hasn't spent any time behind bars. He said, quote, "If I'm Lindsay Lohan, I would just be quiet and just do your job.  Get off Twitter, just stop hanging out, and just do your job and come back.  Everyone loves a comeback.  Everyone's rooting for you."

Olympic snowboarder SHAUN WHITE has apologized for his crazy, drunken behavior at a Nashville hotel over the weekend. On his Facebook page, he said, quote, "I want to apologize for the unwise choices I made over the weekend and for any inconvenience it caused my family, friends, business partners, the hotel and their guests. I was celebrating a happy occasion with a ton of family and friends and got carried away.  I'm truly sorry for my poor behavior."

JIMMY KIMMEL is hosting the Emmys this Sunday, and he's promising some sort of surprise prank. He says, quote, "I'm going to do something very weird during the show.  I think it could possibly be the biggest prank ever pulled, as far as number of people involved.  Possibly.  I haven't researched it, but it'll definitely be right up there. The audience will be a participant in this.  So it's important that you watch because you're either going to be in on it or not."  He wouldn't say anything else.
