My name is Lady and although I was a mom recently, I'm ready to be just a family member now. I'm a very sweet natured and loveable three-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. I like the companionship of other dogs and I don't mind children or cats.
I was recently rescued from a bad situation and I'm glad to be safe here at LTBHS. I sure hope a loving family will soon see what a great dog I am and give me the second chance I've been waiting for.

I'm Bibi and I came to LTBHS in June. I an eight-month-old adorable female domestic short hair mix. Truth is, I'm not sure how I ended up here but I'm doing my best to be patient until my forever family finds me... which will hopefully be soon!
The LTBHS located on West Conway Road, between Petoskey and Harbor Springs is a no kill shelter that helps find homes for over 500 dogs and cats each year. The LTBHS is completely funded thru donations. All pets adopted from LTBHS are nutered and have received a vet check and shots. My name is Deacon and I am a very handsome male dog. I am a very smart guy that will need someone that is confident with a firm hand for my training. I will need to go to a home without other animals. I do fine with children but they need to be older because of my great energy I could knock over little ones by accident. I will need a lot of exercise to help burn off that wonderful energy that I have to share. If you are looking for a companion to do things with I may just be the man for the job. Please stop in and see if you are my forever home.

Very Gentle Pit Bull! Oh, how I love this dog! Babe is a very wonderful and affectionate 4 year old dog. She is housebroken and leash trained and has been to and graduated from obediance classes. She is a lap dog and a lover. This dog does well with people and llllloooovvvveeeesss children. She CAN NOT LIVE WITH CATS and would do best as an only dog in a home. She gets along better with male dogs than females but is very tuned into people so has no real desire to be with other dogs. Babe has a strong prey drive so a fenced yard is a must.
