Students involved with the Alternative Spring Break program, run by United Way of Northwest Michigan and Northwestern Michigan College are hosting Traverse City’s first ever OFFICIAL MONOPOLY game tournament. The tournament will be held at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, on Saturday, March 2, 2013, from 9am to 5pm.
There will be three 90 minute rounds, and various different prizes will be awarded to the winner of each table during each round. The grand prize of $500 cash will be awarded to the competition winner of the final round. The winner with the most assets for any one game during the day will also win $100 cash. The cost to enter the tournament is $25 and you must be at least 10 years of age to participate.
Games and entertainment for non-playing spectators will be available so bring the entire family for a fun-filled day!
