Hi there, my name is Tara, and like all of my roommates around here, I too, am in search of a new home. If you're looking for a sweet, unassuming little dog, then I'm your gal. I love to be held and give snuggles and the fact that I'm only 12 weeks old means I have a lot of time to learn to become your best dog ever! My adoption even comes with a special training class that we can take together-won't that be fun? I hope you'll stop by to see me in person-I can't wait to meet my new family!

With A Little Help From My Friends
Delores is 2 years and would love to be an only cat. She enjoys being held by the volunteers or napping in the sun. Delores is spayed, up to date on shots and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Indoor home only please.
With a Little Help From My Friends’ Pet Crisis Center assists Antrim County Animal Control by taking in primarily owner relinquished pets due to a crisis in the family. These animals came from loving homes who ran out of options and had to relinquish their pet to animal control. This is not a place for the public to bring in a pet but it is a place for the public to visit and adopt. Volunteers welcome.

From the Charlevoix Humane Society
Wilson is our 2 year old Pit Mix who came to us from an over run shelter in North Carolina.
Wilson has been here since May. We think he has had a tough start in his early life and we are hoping we can find this nice young dog a wonderful home. He loves to go for walks and play outside. Wilson would do best in an active home so a fenced in yard would be ideal. Because Wilson likes to jump (he doesn’t seem to have much training), we would suggest a home with older children. Wilson is a very handsome and friendly dog. He does like to pick his dog friends though. Please come to the Charlevoix Area Humane Society and spend some time with our Wilson.
The Charlevoix Human Society's mission is to practice and promote the principle that every life is precious. As such, we are committed to the highest principles of humane care and professional treatment of injured, ill, neglected or abused animals. For more information on pets that are available for adoption or to donate, visit the shelter at 614 Beardsley Street in Boyne City or online at www.charlevoixhumane.org
