As someone who only got into Pokemon once this game came out (seriously, I’ve never played a main-series Pokemon game) Its totally worth it to get back into the game if you took a break. There is so much stuff to do now compared to when the game first launched. Raids for Legendary and other powerful Pokemon, and now the Quest system.
